Potent sluggers and heavenly artwork, make this limited edition print by artist Doo S. Oh a real winner. Professionally framed to overall dimensions of 37-1/2 x 35", this reverent 1996 print depicts the first fifteen members of baseball's vaunted "500 Home Run Club". (11) of these immortal Hall of Fame sluggers have signed near their portraits with average ("9-10") potency, by means of a blue felt-tipped pen. The featured signers as they appear clockwise are: Willie Mays, Mike Schmidt, Ernie Banks, Hank Aaron, Willie McCovey, Reggie Jackson, Eddie Murray, Frank Robinson, Harmon Killebrew, Eddie Mathews, and Ted Williams at center. Spanning the area above the Williams batting pose image, are four sluggers who departed for the "Field of Dreams" prior to 1996, with Jimmie Foxx, Mickey Mantle, "Babe" Ruth and Mel Ott. Renowned Japanese artist Oh has signed at bottom left, and the print is LE numbered "453/1000" at bottom right. Both the print and the frame present as like-new, and a hanging wire is securely attached to the back for immediate display. Auction LOA from JSA.
