It's hard to dispute this as the earliest known Blair bat, pre-dating his Orioles rookie debut as an 8-game September call-up in 1964. The 1961-63 labelling period spans Blair's days in the Mets and O's farm system. His spring-training uniform number "60" is notated on the knob in fading marker. The 34.5", 31.5-oz. bat shows outstanding use with a lengthy crack from handle to barrel, straight across the center brand. There is also some moderate barrel staining. Blair would go on to win 8 Gold Glove Awards and 2 world championships, plus earn 2 All-Star selections. Full LOA from PSA/Taube.
