Big bopper Mike Schmidt comes into play, with this collection of (5) signed items. One of the most prolific home run bashers of all-time, "Schmitty" knocks it out of the park here, with potent autographs ranging ("8" to "10") on a quintet of display worthy pieces. Auction LOA from JSA.
Featured are:
Rawlings Big Stick bat (NM-MT) with "HOF 95" inscription.
1994 Frank Stapleton Artist's Proof 22x28 lithograph commemorating Schmidt's first home run at Veterans Stadium on 9/16/72. The artist has also signed and numbered this piece "1/54 AP". Due to light creasing and a modest stain, this otherwise crisp poster technically rates as (VG-EX), however these conditions will be fairly unobtrusive in framed display.
5/26/90 Mike Schmidt Night program (EX-MT) with Lou Gehrig stamp postmarked "Mike Schmidt Station, May 26, 1990".
1996 Perez-Steele Hall of Fame art postcard (NM+).
1990 Upper Deck card #20 "Mike Schmidt Retires" (NM-MT), LE numbered "558/1989" on the front at top left.
