Talk about a conversation piece! Story goes that it originally hung in a neighborhood bar in the Pittsburgh area—which makes sense given the Pirates' 1960 championship run. The plastic half baseballs, the stenciled team lettering and the background printing are quite professionally done and seem factory produced. Yet there's also a one-of-a-kind type of folk-art feel to it all. Championship winners from 1903 to 1940 are listed in the center, while the subsequent champs from 1941 to 1960 (capped off with a mystery "?") occupy the 3-D balls. GD/VG condition overall. Housed in a 21-1/2" x 30 wood frame (chipped upper left corner).
