Description

In the midst of Marvel Comics prolific Silver Age surge in the early 1960s, Stan Lee came up with the interesting idea of creating a super-hero no one would like, only it turned out everyone loved him. Said hero was playboy arms manufacturer Tony Stark, the man inside the Iron Man suit. The founding Avenger was introduced in 1963, and after a five-year run in Strange Tales, he was featured in his own solo title. Here we have a good chunk of the "Iron Man" First Series run, beginning with the #2 issue from 1968, and ending with #330 from 1996.
