Any talk of game-changers in the sport of baseball must include Jackie Robinson. While signifying the end of more than sixty years of baseball segregation, he was also a societal game-changer, as a symbol for the advancement of the Civil Rights Movement. Make a positive addition to your collection, with this Robinson autograph cut display. This 11x17 matted piece features an 8x10 photo of Robinson in his Brooklyn Dodgers uniform, above a cut seen in a 3-1/4 x 1-1/2" window at bottom. Visible portions of ink stamps on the top of the cut appear to be part of a postmark cancellation, indicating the signed medium is a GPC. Robinson's prized signatures presents as a distinct ("9") strength example, and overall this item reports in pleasing state. Auction LOA from JSA.
