Description

Nuggets from the Gold and Silver Ages are unearthed, with this comic book lot of (6). 


A diverse mix that includes some pre-code issues, this small but interesting group is headed by Strange Tales #114 (GD+), published by Marvel 11/63. Though it's really a bad guy in disguise, the Captain America character is seen on the front cover, making his first appearance since the Gold Age. This thrilling key issue also marks the third appearance of Doctor Strange, and the first appearance of Victoria Bentley. 


Next in importance are: Marvel 11/60 Tales of Suspense with Monstro cover (GD-VG); and DC 8/53 Star Spangled War Stories with Nazi prison camp cover (FR). 


The balance are: Comic Magazines 5/54 Blackhawk #76 (FR-GD); and (2) Stamps Comics: 12/51 #2 (FR), 4/52 #4 (FR-GD).
