It's been called the most dramatic home run in Phillies franchise history. Dick Sisler's 10th-inning, 3-run homer was the game winner and pennant clincher that saved the Whiz Kids from a potential 3-game playoff—and instead sent them straight to the World Series. This duo begins with the hero's signed game stub (FR/GD, "9" signature with additional notation in another hand) that's adhered to a Sport Magazine mounted photo (12x15, GD). The Type IV news-service photo features a jet-black signature (with a faintly double-stroked "D") right above Sisler on his home-run trot. The reverse has a United Press International Stamp and a penciled caption. VG condition with some peripheral emulsion marks from the original negative. Auction LOA from JSA.
